Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Helief, we understand that plans may change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how appointment cancellations, rescheduling requests, and refunds are handled to ensure fairness for both our patients and physiotherapists.
1. Appointment Cancellation
Cancellation More Than 24 Hours Before the Appointment
Appointments cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for:
- Full refund, or
- Complimentary rescheduling to another available date.
Cancellation Within 24 Hours
Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time may be subject to a cancellation charge to compensate for therapist scheduling and travel arrangements.
Same-Day Cancellation
Appointments cancelled on the day of service, after the therapist has begun traveling, or after arrival at the service location are generally non-refundable.
2. Rescheduling
Patients may request to reschedule appointments subject to therapist availability.
Repeated rescheduling requests may require approval from Helief.
3. Cancellation by Helief
If Helief cancels an appointment due to operational reasons, therapist unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances, the patient may choose one of the following:
- Full refund.
- Complimentary rescheduling.
- Credit toward a future appointment.
4. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be approved in situations including:
- Duplicate payment.
- Incorrect billing.
- Service unavailable.
- Therapist unavailable.
- Appointment cancelled by Helief.
Each request is reviewed individually.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not available where:
- The treatment session has been completed.
- The patient was unavailable at the scheduled address.
- Incorrect booking information was provided.
- The therapist had already commenced travel or arrived at the location.
- Treatment was declined without a valid operational reason after therapist arrival.
- The patient was dissatisfied solely due to treatment outcomes despite services being delivered professionally.
6. Treatment Packages
For prepaid treatment packages:
- Completed sessions are non-refundable.
- Unused sessions may be eligible for partial refunds after deducting the value of completed sessions and any applicable promotional benefits or administrative charges.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are generally processed within 5 to 10 business days, depending on the payment method and the processing time of the relevant financial institution.
8. Exceptional Circumstances
Helief may consider refund requests in exceptional circumstances, including verified medical emergencies or situations beyond the patient's reasonable control, at its sole discretion and in accordance with applicable law.
